E-Mail Server Data: Ensuring Reliable Email Delivery

To ensure smooth and secure communication with our users, we place great importance on reliable email delivery.

Sending App Emails via Mandrill

Our app E-Mails are sent using Mandrill, a powerful service provided by Mailchimp.  Mandrill utilizes specific IP ranges optimized for secure delivery. You can find the complete list of IP ranges used by Mailchimp here.

We always use app@teamecho.com as the sender address. Additionally, the "envelope-from" domain appmail.teamecho.com is used to clearly identify the emails. To further enhance the authenticity of the emails we send, we have configured a DKIM DNS record. This entry can be used to ensure that emails have not been sent by third parties.

Survey emails not arriving? 📧

Unfortunately, we can rarely help if invitations to surveys do not arrive. Typical errors can be:

  • Incorrect entry/acceptance of the e-mail address on the teamecho team page (please check; especially umlauts, double names etc.)
  • teamecho mails were marked as spam by the users themselves and therefore moved directly.
  • Greylisting: This is an anti-spam measure used by some server providers, whereby the first delivery attempt from an unknown domain is blocked and only the subsequent attempt is successful. This can occasionally occur if a large number of emails with the same subject are sent to one or more users at the same time. therefore check whether at least one of the following domains is on the greylist: mandrillapp.com, appmail.teamecho.at, teamecho.com
  • Other restrictive anti-spam or filter measures.

Personal Emails via Google

In addition to our app emails, we also send personal emails, which are handled through Google's E-Mail services. These E-Mails are subject to a separate configuration to ensure security and integrity here as well. The corresponding DKIM DNS record for our personal E-Mails is set as google._domainkey.teamecho.com.
