How Do I Use the 12-Month Survey Preview?

Manage your survey questions with the 12-Month Survey Preview. View scheduled questions, lock questions into specific surveys and add or reschedule specific questions to ensure your surveys are tailored to your needs.

Using the 12-Month Survey Preview

The 12-Month Survey Preview allows you to manage and customize your survey questions with ease. Access this feature by opening the 3-dot-menu on the question scheduler overview page and selecting "12 months survey preview."

Locking Questions into a Specific Survey

Locking a question ensures it will be asked in a specific survey, regardless of our dynamic scheduling algorithm. This is useful for questions you consider essential at certain times.

To lock a question:

• click the lock icon next to the question or
• use the "Lock all" button to lock all questions in a survey

Locked questions remain in the chosen survey even if other scheduling factors change, such as category weights set in your teamecho Profile.

Adding a Specific Question to a Survey

Adding a question to a survey ensures that it will be asked, even if it was not originally scheduled. When you add a question, it is automatically locked into that survey. Adding a question to a survey has no influence on other occurences of this question.

To add a question to a survey, use the "Add specific question" dropdown in a survey.

If you change your mind, simply unlock the question and it returns to its original schedule. 

Rescheduling a Question

Rescheduling a question allows you to move it out of a scheduled survey into another survey. Once rescheduled, the question will not be asked until the specified survey and will then continue as per the usual scheduling.

To reschedule a question:

• use the calendar icon in the "Reschedule" column of the question
• select the survey date where you want to ask it

If you change your mind again, simply unlock the question in the survey you rescheduled it to. You can also add this question to any other survey as needed.

Reset to Default

If you've made several changes by adding or rescheduling questions but want to revert to the suggested schedule, use the "Reset to Default" button. This action unlocks all questions in all surveys, resetting all changes made.
