The Key Insights help you to identify the most relevant results from teamecho. They highlight important trends and events, to help you to analyze and understand the results, as well as take action.
What are the Key Insights?
The Key Insights sum up the most important information from you survey results and comments for you. They have two tabs, the "Overview" and the "Trends & Details". If you see only one tab, only the "Trends & Details" tab is enabled for your company.
- Who can see the Key Insights?
- What do I see in Trends & Details?
- What do I see in the Overview?
- How is the automatically generated content created?
The "Overview" of the Key Insights is at the moment still in beta testing and therefore not yet available to all customers.
Who can see the Key Insights?
At the moment, the Key Insights are only available for administrators. We are currently working on making the Key Insights also available for department and team leaders in the future.
What do I see in Trends & Details?
In the Trends & Details, the Key Insights provide a quick overview of noticeable trends or significant events within your surveys, such as:
- Significant changes in responses to specific questions or categories
- Consistent upward or downward trends over multiple surveys
- Low participation rates
- High variation in responses, indicating differing opinions
What information does such a Key Insight contain?
Each Key Insight is designed to guide you through three important steps to help you understand and act on the most relevant survey results. These steps are:
1. Analyze
In the Analyze section, you’ll find relevant data to help you explore the root cause of the event that triggered the insight. The content here varies based on the type of event and is chosen to help you dive deeper into understanding why the event occurred. For example, you may see:
- A team comparison between the top 3 and bottom 3 performing teams for questions or categories where differences in team responses might reveal further potential for improvement.
- A trend chart showing how the index or the value of a specific question or category has changed over time.
- A histogram of responses, displaying how many people selected each answer option for a question, helping you understand the distribution of responses and how this distribution has changed since the last survey.
The Analyze section gives you a starting point for understanding the event by highlighting where changes are occurring or where opportunities for improvement lie.
2. Understand the Comments
After reviewing the data, the Comments section allows you to dive deeper into the feedback. It also provides direct access to the comment hub, filtered for the relevant question set, date range, and event type. This step helps you uncover qualitative insights that might explain the changes seen in the data, giving you a more complete picture.
By analyzing the comments, you can explore the reasons behind both positive and negative developments, helping you decide how to move forward.
3. Take Action
The Take Action section offers practical recommendations on what to do next. These suggestions are tailored to the type of event and link directly to resources in the support center, providing guidance on how to respond effectively to the insights you've gathered.
Key Insights empower you to take proactive steps, from understanding key trends to exploring feedback and taking action to improve your team's engagement.
What do I see in the Overview?
The Key Insights Overview provides you with an overview of the results of individual surveys. Among other things, you can see:
- Automatic summaries of comments and the development of the last completed survey
- Measure recommendations, generated based on your comments and your development
- Further statistics, that help you get a quick overview - f.e. an overview of the current development of you categories
How is the automatically generated content created?
We use OpenAI to create the automatically generated content (summaries of comments and the results as well as measure recommendations). Data (anonymized survey results and comments) that we process using OpenAI is not used to train or improve OpenAI models or to improve other Microsoft products or services.
