How to Use the Heatmap in teamecho?

The heatmap helps you quickly assess the satisfaction of your employees at different levels. It provides an overview of the index, categories, and questions from the surveys and highlights areas that need attention.

What is the Heatmap?

The heatmap displays the results of the surveys using a color scale that ranges from red (low values) to green (high values). This allows you to recognize satisfaction and other metrics at various levels at a glance.

  • Rows represent different levels: the entire company, departments, and teams.
  • Columns represent various aspects of the survey: the index, response rate, categories (e.g., leadership, collaboration), and survey questions. You can switch between different surveys using the date picker.

How to Best Work with the Heatmap?

Here are some tips on how to effectively use the heatmap:

  1. Compare Different Levels
Use the heatmap to analyze differences between the entire company, individual departments, or teams. If a team is performing significantly worse than the company average, this may indicate a local problem that should be addressed.

  2. Focus on Critical Areas
Colors are your best indicator. Pay particular attention to red and orange fields, as these represent low values. These highlight areas that require deeper analysis. These could be specific categories or teams that need your attention.

  3. Utilize the Response Rate
The response rate is an important metric to ensure that the survey results are representative. Be aware of low response rates, as they can affect the reliability of the results.

  4. Switch Between Surveys
With the date picker, you can compare results from different surveys. This allows you to see how certain teams or categories develop over different periods.

Visibility: The heatmap is visible to everyone. The displayed results are based on your visibility settings as well as team and department affiliation.
