Custom Question Sets: How it Works
Would you like a custom question set tailored specifically to your company? Here, we explain what to keep in mind when creating your individual question set.
Who? How? What? Asking questions sounds easy enough, right? Well, it is not quite that simple when you are creating a question set for your employees. But don't worry, we won't leave you to do it alone 😊.
For this very reason, our organizational psychologists have put together a checklist and practical examples detailing what you should pay special attention to.
Creating a Question Set
Congratulations! You have prepared all your questions while keeping the quality criteria in mind 🤓. Now there is only one thing left to do: enter your questions into our template table so we can finalize your custom question set.
The spreadsheet is available for download here.
Although we have explained everything in detail within the template, here is a step-by-step walkthrough to ensure complete clarity.
Across four worksheet tabs, you will provide us with the following information:
- Basic Info: Includes, among other things, the name of your question set.
- Categories: Contains an overview of all desired categories.
- Question Set: Contains the entire requested question set, including questions, category assignments, answer options, answer-related follow-up questions, and details regarding your preferred scale (ranging from 2 to 11).
- Survey Interval: Contains details on your preferred survey frequency (e.g., weekly, bi-weekly, or every four weeks).
Once you have filled out everything, simply send the file back to us and we will take care of the rest 😊.
Primary Language: Just a quick note—we use German as the default primary language in our template, but this is not mandatory. You can also send us your request in English, French, etc., as the primary language.
Additional languages are no problem as long as they are written from left to right. Please add these translations directly into the table (sample columns for English and French are already provided).
German, English, French, Italian, Turkish, Romanian, Slovenian, Slovak, Hungarian, Czech, Polish, and Spanish are already integrated into our teamecho tool. For any other languages, we require up to four weeks of lead time so our development team can make the language available in the tool.
