What is the teamecho profile?

The teamecho profile makes it possible to set individual survey priorities for your organisation. Here we explain exactly how it works.

With the teamecho profile you can now ask the right questions at the right time even better: In addition to the usual work-psychological component in our algorithm (volatility of topics), it is now also possible to set priorities in the continuous surveys.

How it works: the teamecho culture typology

First, we invite you to tell us a little bit about your company. With the help of a short survey on 4 important culture dimensions (company personality, leadership style, feedback goals and strategic goals), the dominant culture type of your organisation will be determined at the end.

The teamecho profile

Based on your culture type, teamecho suggests how best to prioritise the categories from our teamecho Insights standard. You can see which culture type you have at any time in your teamecho profile.

The categories are classified into the following prioritisation levels:

  • Core categories: Questions within these 3 categories will be the most common, as they are issues that are particularly important to your type of organisation.
  • Support categories: Questions from these two categories will be relatively common as they are issues that are particularly important to your type of organisation.
  • Basic categories: Questions within these 5 categories will be the least frequent (but still regular) because they are about issues that are important to the success of any organisation.

Note: Prioritisation determines that questions in certain categories appear slightly more often in the surveys than others. However, this does not mean that these questions are more important or relevant than others - all questions in the teamecho Insights standard have relevance. A higher prioritisation only means that it makes sense for your type of organisation to ask certain questions a little more often, so that you get information on categories that characterise your type of organisation more quickly.

How can I change the prioritisation of categories?

While teamecho provides you with a scientifically based proposal, you as a person in the middle of the action know best which topics are currently most relevant in your organisation. Therefore, you can change the prioritisation of the categories at any time.

Click on the cogwheel in the upper right corner and click on "Edit categories". Now you can drag and drop the categories into the desired prioritisation level.

Tip: You can also disable a category if it is not relevant for you at the moment. Remember to reactivate it later to get a complete picture.

Can I re-take the survey on culture types?

Yes, you can re-take the survey at any time.

Click on the cogwheel at the top right and click on "Re-take teamecho typology survey".

Tip: We recommend that you only change the categories or re-take the teamecho typology surveys if major strategic or cultural changes have taken place. This will ensure that you get valid and comparable results over a longer period of time.
