Is there scientific evidence that teamecho increases employee engagement?
A data-based analysis conducted in 2020 and academically supported by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Barbara Stiglbauer (Institute of Psychology, Johannes Kepler University Linz) shows a significant relationship between the use of teamecho and the development of employee engagement.
The analysis is based on aggregated team-level data from 184 teams across 48 organizations that used teamecho continuously over a longer period of time. On average, the engagement index increased by 1.92 points per year, and by up to 4.73 points per year in teams with particularly intensive usage.
Based on this average change in the satisfaction index, the potential economic benefit was calculated illustratively. The ROI calculation follows an established methodology from occupational health promotion (Fritz & Richter, 2011) and is based on the minimum entry price and license volume of the teamecho Premium model. This results in a Return on Investment (ROI) of 5.94.
In practical terms, this means that every euro invested in teamecho can generate an estimated return of nearly six euros within approximately nine months, after a short onboarding phase, in the form of higher employee satisfaction and stronger engagement.
Note: The calculation is based on aggregated average values and is intended to illustrate potential benefits. Actual ROI depends on company size, depth of usage, and the consistent implementation of derived actions.
